Darkness in a Box, kinetic sculpture 2014, wood, light, photographs 

 

 

The work is part of a body of works that invents un-invented pre-cinema machines.

The images were taken from the film by Werner Herzog, “Lessons of Darkness” that documents the burning oil fields in Kuweit after the war.

As part of the group exhibit “Living in a Movie,” curated by the Sala-Manca group, at The Hansen House, Jerusalem
